| Abstract | Purpose: This study examines the factors influencing undergraduate students' attitudes and intentions toward virtual reality (VR) in interactive learning at Xihua University, Sichuan, China. A conceptual framework was developed, incorporating eight variables: Attitude (ATT), Behavioral Intention (BI), Perceived Utility (PU), Perceived Pleasure (PE), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC), Social Influence (SI), and Perceived Ease of Use (PEU). Research design, data and methodology: A structured survey was administered to 600 undergraduate students across four majors at Xihua University, resulting in 515 valid responses. Data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to validate the measurement model, followed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships. Results: The SEM results revealed that all proposed hypotheses were supported, with PU showing the strongest influence on ATT, while ATT significantly impacted BI. Furthermore, FC and PBC were substantial predictors of BI, while SI demonstrated a weaker, yet still significant, effect. Conclusions: The findings highlight that VR adoption in interactive learning is primarily driven by its perceived utility, ease of use, and the supportive conditions available to students. The study underscores the importance of user-friendly VR interfaces, adequate infrastructure, and engaging learning experiences to foster positive attitudes and higher behavioral intentions. These insights provide valuable implications for educational institutions and technology developers seeking to enhance VR integration in learning environments. |
