| Abstract | The objectivesof this study were to study (1) the level of executive characteristics, (2) the level of personnel work performance effectiveness, and (3) the relationship between executive characteristics and personnel work performance effectiveness, based on the conceptual framework of Ivancevich and Matteson. This study employed a quantitative research methodology. The population consisted of 709 personnel under the Sa Kaeo Provincial Public Health Office. The sample size of 250 participants was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan formula and selected through systematic random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product–moment correlation coefficient, and the chi-square test. The results indicated that: (1) administrator characteristics were rated at a high level, (2) personnel work effectiveness was rated at the highest level, and (3) ethical and moral aspects showed a negative correlation with personnel work effectiveness, while personality, vision, human relations, leadership, and overall administrator characteristics demonstrated a positive correlation with personnel work effectiveness, with statistical significance at the level .01 |
