| Abstract | The research objective was to analyze parents’ strategies for building preschoolers' self-esteem in 3 aspects: education, participation, and positive reinforcement. The sample was 168 parents whose children were enrolled at the Taktorrak kindergarten school in the second semester of the 2019 academic year. The research tool was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, means, and standard deviation.The research results found that the overall level of parents’ strategies in building preschoolers’ self-esteem was at a high level (M = 4.07). All aspects were at the high level performance (3.72 ? M ? 4.38). The highest performance score was positive reinforcement, including respective communication as the highest average score in additional issues (M = 4.51). The following performance score is knowledge teaching (M = 4.10), including teaching and learning about life as the highest average score in additional issues (M = 4.19). The lowest performance score was being participants (M = 3.72), including the participation with family activities as the highest average score in additional issues (M = 4.25). |
