Abstract | The purpose of this survey research was (1) to analyze the types of children’s book for children ages 3-6 and (2) to analyze the concepts of children’s book for children ages 3-6 in Huai Khwang Discovery Learning Library according to three aspects: health and safety,coexistence in society, and general knowledge. The samples comprise of 276 children’s books in Huai Khwang Discovery Learning Library in the year of 2019. The research instrument was a data analysis form.The data were analyzed by using frequency and percentage. The research results showed that (1) there were 4 types of children’s books for children ages 3-6 which were picture story books (69.20%), concept books (25.73%), information books (4.35%), and wordless books (0.72%); (2) in over all,the highest percentage of children’s books concept was found on the concept of coexistence in society (59.06%), the concept of general knowledge(31.88%), and the concept of health and safety (9.06%), respectively. |
