Abstract | The purpose of this study were to study the effects of using physical education activities based on self-regulation approach to reduce aggressive behaviors of lower secondary school students. The sample was 50secondary school students at Bantungmahacharoen School. This sample was divided into 2 groups, with 25 students in the experimental group who received the physical education activities based on self-regulationapproach to reduce aggressive behavior for 8 weeks, 3 days a week, 50minuite a day, and 25students in the control group who did not received the physical education activities based on self-regulation. Compare the difference of score and the data were than analyzed by calculating means, standard deviations and t-test, using statistically significant difference at .05 levels.The research findings were as follows: 1)The mean score of aggressive behaviors of students in the experimental group after receiving physical education activities according to the self-regulation to reduce aggressive behavior The aggressive behavior was significantly lower than before the experiment at the level of .05. Prior to the experiment, the mean score was 7.72 points. After the experiment, the mean score was 12.40. Aggressive behavior is at a good level.2) The mean score of aggressive behavior of students in the control group After the non-physical education activities organized according to the self-regulationconcept were not significantly different from before the experiment at the level of 0.5, before the experiment, the meanscore was 8.84. Equal to 9.26 points, which translates to a moderate level of aggressive behavior. |
