| Abstract | The purposeof this research isto study online instructional packages for electric guitarsusing demonstrations. This documentary research consists of articles related to the concept and theory of instructional packages, multimedia elements and electric guitar instructional method skills. Data classification, data comparison, and inductive conclusion were the conducted data. The findingsof this research reveal that online instructional packages for electric guitar using demonstration can be divided into 4 components,which are (1) the instructor; usingcasual and informal languages,(2)an instructional approach; demonstrations and explanations were applied as a meansof instruction, (3) content; musical techniques and musical theory, and (4) multimedia; vision and sound.In Thailand, additionally, the study discovered thatthe substanceof online instructional packages for electric guitarsis an important skill to perform a solo part inThai popular music. The contentsincludes(1) rhythmic values;eighth note, sixteenth note, triplet andsyncopation 2) scales;pentatonic scale andmajor scale 3) musical techniques; alternate picking, sweep picking, hammer-on andpull-off, slide, tapping, bending andvibrato. |
