Abstract | This study involveddescriptive research aimed at studying the problems and obstacles in the academic administration of Bannongaplong School by STEM Educationand presenting recommendations forthe development and management of the Bannongyaplong School by STEM Education. Informants Included onedirector and fourteen teachers. The instrumentsused for data collection were a questionnaire,and the evaluationform of suitability and possibility. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation and content analysis.The research results were as follows: 1) The state of the academic administration of Bannongaplong School by STEM Education was found to beat a high level(M=3.99, SD= 0.73).The lowestrated areawas curriculum management and development (M = 3.80,SD= 0.73). 2)The school academic administration,according to the STEM concept,consistsof creatinga school curriculum based on the STEM concept, cooperatively analyzingthe STEM curriculum, and appropriately adjustingthe contents and activities to the school context and community. Teachers should integrate STEM conceptsinto the curriculum, adjust the contents and activities to the school context and community, and test the curriculum before using it. Moreover, public hearings for STEM curriculumshould be conductedin order to elicitopinions and comments from parents and communities. Finally, school administrators should provide anopportunityto summarize the developedSTEM learning resultsand have teachers and educators participate in the curriculum assessment in order to improve the curriculum. |
