Abstract | In connection with secondaryschoolsundertheofficeoftheBasicEducationCommission,the purposes of this research were1) to study the stateof organizational communication management;2) to study the problems of organizational communication management;and 3) to present new or revised approaches for organizational communication management. The population covered119secondary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Bangkok.Informants were schooladministratorsandteachers: headsof departments, lower and upper class representatives,and student committeemembers.The instrumentused in the research was questionnairewith open-ended questions. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.The research results found that1) thestateof organizational communication managementof administratorsatthe overall level wasat a high level (M= 4.18, SD= 1.04). The evaluation is the most practical (M= 4.22, SD= 0.99).2) Theproblems of organizational communication managementof administrators atthe overall level was at a medium level (M= 2.55, SD= 1.29). The planningis the most problematic(M= 3.07, SD= 1.28).Additionally,3) with respect to approaches for organizational communication management;3.1) planning: administrators should provide a language screeningsystemand should provide various and appropriate communication channels;3.2) practice: administrators should make clear the schedule and priorities of activities and should have a friendly personality;and 3.3) evaluation: administrators should systematicallyevaluate, improve anddevelopcontinuously. |
