| Abstract | The purpose of this study was to apply fixed-time artificial insemination technology to increase the efficiency of goat production. The experimental design was a completely randomized design; CRD, which included 40 female goats with an average age of 2 years and a weight between 38.00±0.5 kg. The does were divided into 4 treatments with 10 does each. The first treatment was the control group, including does which were not received synchronization programs and had natural mating. The second treatment was the does that received hormone synchronization programs and had natural mating. The third treatment was the does that received hormone synchronization programs and single fixed-time artificial insemination using frozen semen. Treatment 4 does received hormone synchronization programs and 2 fixed-time artificial inseminations using frozen semen. The results showed that does in treatments 3 and 4 showed the highest rate of estrus (100 %) at days 6–8 (p<0.05) and a higher pregnancy rate (p<0.01) compared to treatments 1 and 2. There is no pregnancy loss in this trial. No significant difference was found between 1 and 2 inseminations. Implementing fixed-time artificial insemination (AI) technology could be the method to enhance goat production efficiency, which can address the shortage of feeder goats, reduce the shortage of feeder goats, minimize economic losses, and increase farmers’ income, thereby supporting sustainable livestock production in Lampang Province. The findings of this study can be applied to commercial goat production systems. |
