| Abstract | The research addresses expensive commercial vein imaging devices by developing an affordable alternative. The study employed an innovation framework involving 13 methodological steps, from problem analysis through dissemination. With 10 participants (aged 19-59) from Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, the team successfully created a device with an image capture area of 6x6 cm to 6x10 cm, an effective operating distance of 14-34 cm from skin, and an image resolution of 800x480 pixels. The device achieved clear images of subcutaneous veins under normal ambient lighting, demonstrating practical feasibility. The authors recommend future research investigating the device's accuracy in training venipuncture and intravenous administration skills for healthcare students and professionals. |
