| Abstract | The purpose of this research is to propose a creative problem-solving learning process based on Activity Theory by using computer-supported collaborative learning to enhance Information Studies students' library innovation ability. The research process consists of two parts: First, the synthesis of related documents and research, the interview of instructors and librarians about classroom conditions, and the interview of experts; and second, the development of the learning process. It is found that the developed learning process is appropriate for classroom management. The learning process consists of 5 elements and 7 main steps. The 5 elements are: 1) information sources (places, person sources and online sources); 2) community (instructors, students, and librarians); 3)creative problem-solving techniques; 4)computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL); and 5) evaluation. The 7 learning steps are as follows: 1) preparation; 2) understand the problems; 3) generate innovative ideas; 4) select innovation ideas; 5) building acceptance; 6) plan and create the innovation; and 7) presentation. |
