Abstract Research on this matter has the following objectives: To study the expectations of students in prison towards Bachelor of the Bachelor of Arts Program Branch of Buddhism: A Case Study of Rayong Central Prison. To compare the expectations of students in prison towards studying in the Bachelor of Arts Program Branch of Buddhism: A Case Study of Rayong Central Prison with different personal factors. To study suggestions and improvement guidelines for the Bachelor of Arts Program Branch of Buddhism.The research results revealed that students have high expectations for the program, with an overall average score of 3.55. When considering each aspect in order of score from highest to lowest, the curriculum and the teaching staff received the highest average scores of 3.77, while factors supporting learning received a moderate average score of 3.30. When comparing the expectations of students towards the course of study based on personal factors such as gender, there were no differences in hopes for the curriculum. However, expectations for the course differed based on individual factors such as age, educational qualifications, and punishment period. Regarding suggestions and guidelines for improving the curriculum, it is recommended to adjust the curriculum to include courses and extracurricular activities suitable for the learners' context. In terms of the teaching and learning process, it is suggested to use teaching methods that focus on learning outcomes. Regarding measurement and evaluation, it is recommended to announce the results more quickly. In terms of learning support factors, it is suggested to provide up-to-date and adequate textbooks that meet the students' needs, especially in Buddhist subjects.
