Abstract The Royal Project Development Centre, Letor, Tak Province aims to develop the quality of the lives of hill tribes who have insufficient income to survive. It applies the sufficiency economy philosophy to community development, and encourages people to live together with forests, restore forest ecosystems, restore watershed ecosystems, promote agroforestry, raise awareness among people to jointly conserve soil, water, and forests, and to encourage community participation in developing their quality of life, leading to this research. The objectives were to 1) manage and transfer knowledge on community forest management according to the royal initiative and community wisdom, and 2) develop community forest learning sites to support food security and community income. This is qualitative research in which data were collected through surveys of natural resources and cultural lifestyles. Interviewing 57 key informants consists of knowledgeable informants and government officers. Data analysis by content analysis and synthesis lessons learnt. The results found that 1) Ban Letor community is “Karen” or Pga K’nyau ethnic group community, who have wisdom knowledge of community forest management according to their way of life, which can be used to develop their community. Rotate farming and field crops that are grown by tradition and economic crops, and agriculture are Promoted by the royal project. Wisdom is applied during cultivation based on beliefs related to conservation and the environment. Community forest management is within The royal initiative and the use of wisdom. Community forests are established and legally certified. The community cooperates with officials to maintain the forest and restore natural resources. 2) Community learning sites are developed to provide local learning as resources and seasonal forest collection, plant preservation, and propagation, and community learning resource maps were developed as a material for cooperation and participation areas in forest and natural resource management and conservation to develop communities for sustainability and self-reliance.
