| Abstract | This research article aims to: 1) study the need for integrating emotional intelligence according to Buddhist principles in promoting a sustainable learning and development environment in the context of schools under the Suphan buri primary education service area office 1 and 2) propose guidelines for integrating emotional intelligence based on Buddhist principles in school management to transform schools into learning organizations. This is a qualitative study, with 25 key informants, including 10 in-depth interviews and 15 participants in group discussions, selected through purposive sampling. The research tool was a structured interview guide, with selection criteria based on the participants being small school administrators, teachers in schools, and having at least 5 years of experience. The data were analyzed using content analysis, and the quality was verified using the triangulation technique. The study results found that: 1. The need for integrating emotional intelligence according to Buddhist principles to promote the creation of a sustainable learning and development environment includes: 1.1 The context of schools in Suphanburi Province has foundational potential for integrating emotional intelligence, such as good relationships, work networks, and opportunities for self-development. 1.2 The need to integrate Buddhist principles to develop learning organizations, which includes fostering organizational commitment, positive and constructive communication, and systems thinking for learning. 2. The guidelines for integrating emotional intelligence based on Buddhist principles in school management to become learning organizations include creating a learning ecosystem, promoting mindfulness, developing systems thinking, shared vision, encouraging learning, and applying Buddhist principles. |
