| Abstract | This paper reviews performance metrics that are commonly used in knowledge management. Since knowledge is the root of all sustainable advantage in the knowledge -based economy, the area of knowledge management performance measurement has become a hot topic. Unfortunately, the measurement of knowledge assets is difficult and few models have been developed specifically for the purpose. This paper critically reviews the most common measurements and concludes with a list of criteria that should be used in the development of future metrics. |
