| Abstract | Ancient Dezful city is located in the SW of Iran (5000BC-2016AC) near the DEZ River. This spiral domes will be used to demonstrate the symbolic special constructions same as Tombs of the messenger Daniel (500BC), the Lion King Yaghob Saffari Era (800AD) and the Rood-band Syd (1409AD). These structures are constructed through simple and local materials. The common materials were used by the bricks and the Sarooj mixture. The Sarooj is the main mortar and manmade concrete. After thousands of years, it resists again the high tension, stresses, winds, rains erosion, enemies and wars, and sewer exposures. All bricks were set to demonstrate the cubic element around the spiral curve. It is turning around the variable circles radius on the spiral path- line which will makes a conic parabolic sharp dome. Two domes constructed in each parabolic dome. The first dome is fixed between the supports that named the inner dome. It was erected on the semi sphere space. The second dome was constructed by the parabolic conic section to show beautiful, cultural and architectural engineering. Main materials were bricks, dolomite, canes, stone blocks and the special mortar Sarooj. The height of Spiral Parabolic Dome-SPD is almost 10m and radius of inner dome is measured 2m with the ratio 2.5 that would vary with the Geo-technical conditions and architectural considerations. |
