Abstract According to data from the Taiwan Ministry of Labor, Taiwan has become a major destination for Indonesian migrant workers, with over 301,549 individuals employed across sectors such as manufacturing, fisheries, and domestic caregiving as of November 2024. These workers contribute significantly to Taiwan’s economic growth and social development. However, they often face various challenges, including language barriers, cultural differences, and stressful work environments, which may negatively affect their overall performance. These factors can influence both their motivation and job performance. While individual skills and abilities are essential for effective job performance, external factors—such as social support and social support—also play a critical role. Social support encompasses various forms of assistance individuals receive from their environment, including emotional, informational, and material aid provided by family members, supervisors, or colleagues. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of work motivation and social support on job performance among Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan. A quantitative research approach was adopted, involving 203 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS, incorporating descriptive statistics, reliability testing, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that both work motivation and social support have positive and statistically significant effects on job performance. These findings underscore the importance of fostering supportive and equitable working conditions for migrant workers. The study recommends that employers and policymakers implement targeted strategies to enhance worker motivation and support systems. Such strategies include the implementation of structured mentorship programs, culturally sensitive language and integration training, the provision of mental health support services, and the development of fair employment policies that promote career advancement and ensure equal treatment.
