| Abstract | Warfarin is a vitamin K antagonist anticoagulant that is widely used for prophylaxis and treatment of thromboembolism. Several factors can cause the international normalized ratio (INR) of the prothrombin time to exceed the target ranges of treatment, including drug-drug interactions, leading to abnormal bleeding and potential fatality. |
