Abstract | The study was a documentary-basedresearch. The purposes of this research were to study the conceptual framework of 1) the academic management of Kindergarten schools; and 2) primary school readiness. Data were documentationfrom eightstudiesrelated tothe academic management of Kindergarten schoolsandprimary school readiness whichused content analysis andfrequency distribution.The findingsareas follows: 1) the conceptual framework of the academic management of Kindergarten school consistsof: 1.1) curriculum development, 1.2) learning experiences, 1.3) Learning Environment, and 1.4) developmental assessment and evaluation; 2) the conceptual framework of primary school readinessconsistsof: 2.1) ready children, 2.2) aready school, and 2.3) ready families.The discussioncovered the following: 1) the conceptual framework of the academic management of Kindergarten schoolsconsistsof fourworks because they are based onprimary school readinessprinciples,and 2) the conceptual framework of primary school readinessconsistsof threedomains becausepreparing children forprimary school dependson cooperation from children, teachers, and families. |
