Abstract | This study was a documentary research with the purpose of developingtwoconceptual frameworks consisting of1) academic management basedontheconcept of executive functions, and 2) executive functions. A documentary synthesis method was used. The research instrument included data recording. Data were analyzed by content analysis and frequency analysis from 11 relevant documents. The research revealed that: 1) The conceptual framework of academic management basedon the concept of enhancing executive functions consistedof four approaches 1.1 curriculum development, 1.2 learning environment, 1.3 learning experience, and 1.4 development assessment and evaluation;and 2) The conceptual framework of enhancing executive functions consisted of five elements: 2.1 working memory is the ability of children to remember and can be linked to the previous experience that has been processed, 2.2 inhibitory control is the ability of children to restrain things stimulated, 2.3 shifting/cognitive flexibility is the ability of children to be flexible with changing circumstances, 2.4 emotional control is the ability of children to manage their emotions, and 2.5 planning and organizing is the ability of children to target, prioritize, planning and implement to achieve goals. |
