| Abstract | The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) conducts anti-cyber abuse policy by providing the protection from online harassment and cyber cyberbullying, usually through preventing incidents of abusive, discriminatory, or threatening messages during the football tournament (i.e. posts or comments on social media). The aim of this paper to study and understand how the FIFA governs social media practices that may protects players, teams and officials from online abuse through regulatory enforcement and to analyse how FIFA rules and activities can curb cyber abuse activities and facilitate social media protection. |
