Abstract The study addresses waste management challenges by investigating agricultural and municipal waste materials, specifically rice husk ash and recycled glass, as components in lightweight concrete. Researchers optimized water-to-binder ratios and mix proportions, evaluating compressive strength, bulk density, and water absorption. The optimal formulation achieved a compressive strength of 5.53 MPa, which exceeds the minimum requirement for Type C12 aerated concrete per Thai standards. Bulk density measured 1,070 kg/m3 (within specified range), though water absorption at 24.97% slightly surpassed the standard limit but remained acceptable for applications without direct moisture exposure.
