| Abstract | The objectives of this research article are as follows: 1) to develop listening strategy competencies for teachers using the storyline and social engineering concepts for students in the Faculty of Education, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. 2) To analyze the relative development scores of listening strategy competencies for teachers using the storyline and social engineering concepts for students of the Faculty of Education, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The research instruments were 3 learning plans for listening strategy competencies for teachers using storyline and social engineering concepts, totaling 9 hours. Pre-test and post-test and a test to analyze the relative developmental level of listening strategy competency for teachers before and after the study, 1 set, 20 questions. The sample consisted of 40 students who registered for the Communication Strategies for Teachers course in the second semester of the academic year 2024, divided into two study groups. The sample was obtained by simple random sampling. Results were analyzed using percentage (%), mean (M) and standard deviation (SD). Pre- and post-test scores were compared using dependent t-test statistics and developmental levels were analyzed using the formula for calculating relative developmental scores. The research results found that1. The results of the comparison of listening strategy competency scores for teachers for first-year students found that the average score from the post-test (13.05) was significantly higher than the pre-test score (6.20) at the .05 level.2. The results of the analysis of the developmental level of listening strategy competence for teachers using the storyline and social engineering concepts for first-year students found that the overall average development score was 50.66. Students had a high level of average development. |
