Abstract Embark on a scholarly exploration into the intricate relationship between leadership theory and the contentment of civil servants within Local Government Organizations (LGOs) nestled in the tranquil precincts of Nong Khai. This academic pursuit seeks to study on leadership qualities of administrators and job satisfaction levels among employees in local government organizations, uncover the interconnection between leadership theory and job satisfaction, deciphering their influence while crafting a blueprint to enhance the leadership proficiency of LGO administrators. Employing a quantitative research paradigm, this study directs its focus towards the dedicated members of LGOs in Nong Khai, totaling 109 respondents. Data collection unfolds through digital channels, with online surveys gracefully disseminated via Google Form. To illuminate the path of inquiry, the tools of descriptive and inferential statistics, including the venerable Pearson Correlation Coefficients and the esteemed Multiple Regression Analysis within the realm of SPSS, are summoned to test hypotheses. The research findings reveal a significant impact of leadership abilities among LGO administrators on the well-being of civil servants, with a notable statistical significance levels of 0.05 (P-Value = <0.001). Transformational Leadership Theories shine brightly with an influence of β = 0.726, whilst Transactional Leadership Theories, though less prominent, still play a role with a β = -0.084. The coefficient of determination (R2 = 0.444) sheds light on the extent of job satisfaction variation among LGO employees, with 55.6% attributed to other factors. Notably, one independent variable indicates a positive coefficient, enhancing job satisfaction, while its counterpart displays a negative coefficient, indicating a dampening effect on job satisfaction. This suggests that job satisfaction is influenced by a complex interplay of factors. Local government administrators can develop transformational leadership qualities starting with directly and honestly communicate with staff, long-term planning, private discussions to follow up on tasks, direct inquiries into individual issues, consistent praise and encouragement, periodic but not overly frequent monitoring of work, providing motivation, and highlighting the value of each employee's work. Additionally, they should support budget allocations for diverse training to enhance knowledge related to organizational tasks. If administrators lacking understanding of transformational leadership theories can self-educate through online learning platforms, participate in academic and practical training projects organized by government agencies or universities.
