| Abstract | This research aimed to develop sustainable creative tourism activities based on community management in Thung Yang, Laplae District, Uttaradit Province. The study employed a mixed-methods research design, integrating both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection instruments consisted of focus group discussion forms and questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, mean, and standard deviation, followed by descriptive and content analysis to examine qualitative data.The findings revealed five sustainable creative tourism activities based on community management in Thung Yang Subdistrict, Laplae District, Uttaradit Province: (1) offering alms at Phra Borommathat Temple; (2) the sightseeing route entitled “The Legend of Sangthong”; (3) rice cracker making; (4) flower garland crafting (Phuang Mahot); and (5) the Thung Yang Community Way of Life Market. Activity 1, offering alms at Phra Borommathat is a sustainable creative tourism activity emphasizing visitor participation and authentic cultural engagement (X ̅ = 5.00). Activity 2, the “Legend of Sangthong” sightseeing route, employed storytelling by local scholars to enhance visitor engagement (X ̅= 4.78). Activity 3, rice cracker making, emphasized hands-on participation and authenticity (X ̅ = 5.00). Activity 4, flower garland making (Phuang Mahot), promoted cultural immersion through community participation (X ̅ = 4.94). Activity 5, the Thung Yang Community Way of Life Market, fostered enjoyment and authentic local experiences (X ̅ = 4.98). All activities were rated at the highest level. |
