| Abstract | This research aimed to develop active learning activities and evaluate the effectiveness of active learning management in the course of human resource management in the airline business. The findings are: 1) The transformation from passive to active learning in theoretical courses is adaptable by developing various activities and adjusting the teachers’ characteristics, teaching methods, teaching media, classroom environment, and learning assessment. 2) Human resource management in the airline business has nine activities that are consistent with the course content and have a propriety and feasibility standard at the highest level. This could be an example for other theoretical subjects. 3) The active learning management in this course is effective. The empirical evidence is the higher scores in the post-test, the class average grade exceeding the specified criteria, and the highest level of student satisfaction in every indicator. |
