| Abstract | The purpose of this paper aims to examine the relationship between human capital and career success in higher education institutions in Changsha, China. Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling were used to test the theoretical models and hypotheses. The results find significant relationships between human capital and career success of university graduates which are relationship between human capital and person-organization fit of university graduates and person-organization fit and career success of university graduates. Research findings suggest that human capital is important for career success. The results also find that policymakers focus on the investment and improvement of human capital to boost the realization of the university graduates’ career success. |
